House of Achsah is a family owned and operated business located in Brooklyn, New York. We are a leading retailer, offering personalized shopping for all ages, shapes and sizes. HOA is not only a business, but a ministry, for the everyday woman and man whose hectic life may not afford them the time or opportunity to shop. Here at House of Achsah we take the hassle out of shopping, and leave you with an experience that has kept our customers returning for more than 20 years.

House of Achsah (formally known as Achsah Fashions) was created by our founder Carradine Vaughn Chandler in 1993. Achsah originally began selling ethnic wear and soon transitioned into the traditional market. Carrie (as she was affectionally called) had a keen sense of style and an undeniable gift for color. She also possessed the ability to accurately size anyone she happened to come in contact with.

This gift led to her success in being able to offer her customers that special one on one personalized shopping experience. Having a heart for people, Carrie instituted a credit system that allowed her customers to make purchases on a payment plan. This system afforded the customers the opportunity to shop and not break the bank. She encouraged them to make her apart of their budget, thus ensuring timely payments. And to this day, HOA has maintained this policy for our select customers.
